Let me tell ya, I'm really excited about this because otherwise comments on older posts are not easily noticed, and I want them to be.
The basic idea for this recent comments solution is here on Amit Agarwal's Digital Inspiration blog: essentially you hijack bloggers email notification of new comments (if you have a blog on which you're the adminstrator or the only author you have this option) and couple it to bloggers email posting service, called mail-to-blogger.
