I'm not certain that changing the chart to a link is a perfect solution...
if it's not, and there is a second complaint, then I'll likely find an even less direct way to refer to the image/map/chart/table, I think, maybe to a general image search results page. That makes things more difficult for readers, but copyright is copyright.
