Introductions

Some introductions would help get the mix-and-mingle process started...I think I should introduce everybody? At least to get things started? Sorry, people, I didn't do this earlier...

First, about Ogo: we went to the same secondary school, though i believe we became friends by email a few years later. she's super curious, no kidding. she also forgets to mention that she's at the London School of Economics these days.
Now about Busayo: we're friends by phone, and also distant relatives. lucky i found him; this guy has great energy. um, let's see he's an engineer, he's fun...

Ahhh, rweba. Seven years ago I met a supersmart kid who had newly arrived at Howard to study Computer Science. Yep. That was him. I like playing big sis, so I probably did this with him, although he's older than I.
He taught me basic Computation Theory, he was really into that at the time...Now he studies Machine Learning (don't ask) at that geek heaven in Pittsburgh.
He's from Tanzania.

"Nir" is Israeli-North African-American or something like that. From Michigan. Geology grad student at Caltech. A few years ago he had classes on minerals and rocks and fossils. I hear they also travel a lot, ostensibly to see all the geological stuff first-hand.
He's been a nice friend of mine for four years now. He has a new blog. Oddly, I've never asked him what he'll like to do with his life.

Busayo, the passionate Nigerian engineer and blogger, now works in a petroleum consulting firm in Texas. He writes blogs and contributes to several forums on Nigeria and on money.

Thanii is my second blogger user name. I made a separate user name to test easily how the site appears to a user besides the administrator.

Kunmi is an artist and computer scientist. She does Human Computer Interaction in graduate school. I often hear her raving about things like "Usability Engineering.".
She's also my sister and during her undergraduate schooling she enjoyed editing the university Engineering magazine and working summers on Wall Street. She just returned from a summer in Norway.

Melahn is working on a startup company to commercialize several technologies, including one that cleans coal. He was at Caltech for a year, where we took an awesome but unexplainably tough bioengineering class. He lives in Noerthern California at or near Stanford.

Dele is my cousin and he's into business and computing in Lagos. I need to learn more about what he's into. He's very nice and has very charming parents.

Dolapo and I were colleagues in Queen's College, where her grounded manner constantly surprised people. She's very grounded and smart.

Her brother is music star Banky. I like his music.

Changed names: Busayo is now DonCasiragi

b-diddy-disco used to be a young brainy kid. Now he works on solar cell device physics principles. He may be grown up, but he's still cool. He likes old-school music and posts mix-tapes on his other blog.
