I heard something verrry profound on TV today: RETAIL IS DETAIL.
Hmmm, retail is all about detail. I am not suited to retail, at least not in fashion that is for sure, as I like broad ideas and elegant solutions far more than appealing packages.
My mother on the other hand is partially in a retail business, and I can see how she sweats the details.
I would say 'retail is detail' suggests that if you're a Myers-Briggs J, a strong J, you would love the work, and if you're a P, you may find it not suited to your personality, so, do something else.
